Tasting notes

A vibrant and expressive wine with a very pale lemon-green hue.

The nose is led by pronounced gooseberry and hedgerow aromas, supported by fresh nettle, citrus and subtle grassy notes.

The palate is light-bodied and crisp, driven by lively, zesty acidity that gives the wine real freshness and precision. Flavours of gooseberry and citrus carry through with clarity, leading to a clean, refreshing and persistent finish.

A bright, energetic style with a slightly more incisive edge.

Pairs beautifully with

Grilled white fish; prawns; goat's cheese; asparagus; fresh summer salads

Vegetarian and Vegan-friendly. Contains Sulphites.

Orders usually ship within 24 hours by Royal Mail 24 or Royal Mail 48 services.

sozzled squirrel

The fun one. The first pour. The one that makes everyone smile.

Squirrels have always been part of vineyard life here - cheeky, busy, never far away when grapes are ripening.

“Sozzled Squirrel” reflects the joy of what we do. It’s the bottle opened at family BBQs, after a long day tying in vines, or when friends pop round “just for one.”

It represents laughter, hard work rewarded, and not taking life too seriously.
