Giddy Goose 2025 - Pinot Noir & Madeleine Angevine White Wine

Wines of Great Britain Midlands & North Bronze Award

Giddy Goose 2025 is a medium-dry English white wine from our family-run vineyard in North Lincolnshire, blending 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Madeleine Angevine.

Delicate citrus and orchard fruit aromas are lifted by soft floral notes, leading to a crisp, well-balanced palate with refreshing acidity and a smooth, elegant finish that reflects England's cool-climate terroir.

A medium-dry white displaying a bright, pale lemon appearance with youthful green reflections.

The nose is clean and moderately pronounced, revealing aromas of green apple, pear and restrained white peach, supported by citrus blossom, elderflower and subtle gooseberry.

On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with well-integrated + acidity that provides freshness and precision without dominating the fruit profile.

A persistent finish of citrus peel, orchard fruit and delicate salinity

Pairs beautifully with

Seafood, fresh salads and soft cheeses.

Just passing through.

As autumn arrives and the vineyard begins to change, we regularly hear them before we see them – geese calling high above the vines as they travel south in their familiar 'V' formations.

Following ancient migration routes from the far north, some simply pass overhead, while others occasionally drop into the fields around the vineyard for a well-earned rest before continuing their journey.

Giddy Goose is our nod to these seasonal visitors - noisy, sociable and always seemingly in a hurry to get somewhere.

A little stop at Wressle before heading south.
