Shipping policy

At Wressle Vineyard, we aim to deliver your wine safely, efficiently, and in line with UK alcohol regulations.

Delivery Options

1. Standard Delivery (Royal Mail) 

We use Royal Mail for all national deliveries.

  • Tracked 48: Estimated delivery within 2–3 working days
  • Tracked 24: Estimated delivery within 1–2 working days.
  • Orders are typically dispatched within 1 working day. 

Please note:

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed 
  • Orders placed after 2pm will be processed the next working day
  • No dispatch on weekends or bank holidays.

2. Local Delivery (DN20 Postcode) 

We offer FREE local delivery within the DN20 postcode area.

  • Delivered by our team from Wressle Vineyard
  • Typically fulfilled within 1–2 working days
  • We may contact you to arrange a suitable delivery time. 

3. Local Collection (Wressle Vineyard) 

Collection is available directly from the vineyard.

  • FREE collection
  • Orders placed before 10:00am will be ready within 4 hours
  • Orders placed after 10:00am will be ready the same day or next working day.

We will let you know when your order is ready for collection.

Age Verification – Challenge 25

In line with UK law, we operate a strict Challenge 25 policy.

  • You must be 18 years or older to purchase alcohol
  • If you appear under 25, you may be asked for valid ID upon delivery or collection 
  • Accepted ID includes: Passport UK Driving Licence PASS-approved ID card.

Failure to provide a valid ID may result in your order not being handed over. 

Failed Deliveries 

If delivery is unsuccessful:

  • Royal Mail may leave a calling card or attempt redelivery
  • You may need to rearrange delivery or collect from your local depot. 

For local deliveries:

  • If no one is available, we will contact you to rearrange
  • Repeat delivery attempts may incur a charge.

Damaged or Missing Items 

If your order arrives damaged or incomplete: 

  • Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Include photos where possible so we can resolve quickly.
