We have high hopes for this wine in the Midlands and North Regional Challenge for 2026.

We are thinking it's the best Robbing Red Breast yet.

Same bold colour, same dark fruit flavour and body. Just somehow better, with the vines now nicely established with the roots deeper and stronger. 2025 was a great year for favourable weather, too.

Small, fearless – and light-fingered.

As the grapes begin to ripen, our local robins know exactly when it’s time to visit. Darting out from the nearby hedgerows, they help themselves straight from the vines before disappearing back into cover.

They may look innocent, but between them, our feathered thieves can contribute to the loss of up to a tonne of grapes from the vineyard.

Robbing Red Breast is our tribute to these cheeky little opportunists – bold, fearless and always keeping a close eye on the next ripe grape.

We grow them. They rob them. We make the wine.
